Sony Music Screeners

This half-page ad ran nationally in such magazines as Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly. It announced the arrival of computer screen-saver software, featuring Sony Music's top artists in games, videos and wallpaper patterns. Copywriters at Sony came up with the concept and we designed the ad, directed the photo shoot and took each ad size to final film.

 


 

 

 

They Might Be Giants

This quarter-page ad for a “surprise” concert by New York’s favorite art-pop duo ran exclusively in the Village Voice. Most ads in this section listed several acts per venue and all of the type was as large as the space allowed. We countered that by creating a typographical hierarchy and a lot of white space.
