EAT FAT

Author: RICHARD KLEIN

Publisher: VINTAGE

Richard Klein, author of Cigarettes Are Sublime, focuses his contrarian wit on the subject of eating and the glory of fat. The title draws comparisons between the words “EAT” and “FAT”. He argues that it is no small accident that he two are identical, save the additional bottom stroke of the letter E. This idea is presented in the form of a neon sign. A roadside diner message in a clinically plain environment, the glowing neon is embossed with a spot varnish against a matte grey background.
